Hello all,
I seem to be experiencing some trouble with my nero, Im running nero 5.5 and never really had a problem with it. The file folders I burn from are those created when I use dvd shrink (VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS) when I add the files and click the next button, after I check verifiy data on disk, when I click next to burn it automatically tells me burn process started and almost immediatly tells me burn process failed. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what can I do to fix it.

What is the reason for the faliure? Does it give you a reason? I had something similar once and I used a different DVD+R, and it worked fine. Turned out the media was faulty.

No the media is just fine, best ive used so far but I just dont know whats wrong with it.

Go to the "Tools" section and find a freeware burner that can burn the folders. That might tell you if you need to look elsewhere besides Nero for your problem.
Nero "is" a 4 letter word though you know... -
well without knowing what the error is, it's kind of hard to tell you what's wrong.

One thing to check is to see if you have DLA activated. I had to disable to burn with Nero. Used dvdshrink and nero then one day it started to do the same thing. I went nuts trying to figure out why. The only thing I could think of that casued it was that Sonic found an update for itself while burning and activated the DLA on the Disc Drives.
