    After punching in the showview channels (sweden), I see that the channels suggested are not the "right channel".

    When the recorder was installed, it scanned the tv-cable for signals.. and found about 13 channels.

    I have entered "Home Menu".. and changed the "ShowView channels",.. but still there are channels which don't match the showview-code.

    Some channels are on;
    2,3,5,6 etc..
    others are
    cc8, cc7, cc15 etc..

    How can I set these channels correctly ?

  2. Are you talking about ShowView or VIDEO Plus+ (page99) ?

  3. OK. I located Swedish manual and it is ShowView there and it should be on page 96.
    Kanalinställning för ShowView (ShowView
    CH Setting)
    • Grundinställning: n/a (kan ej ställas in)
    ShowView-systemet använder guidekanaler så att det
    kanalnummer som anges för programmeringsnumren
    för nummer som anges för programmeringsnumren för
    ShowView skall överensstämma med rätt station.
    and so on...

    Nice! but..
    When I plugged in the device first time, it found & installed all my channels.
    Then I went into the "Home Menu" -> "Initial setup".. and changed each channels number.

    Like;
    1 = SVT1
    2 = SVT2
    etc..

    Now, when I push showview button, enter code, it doesn't seem to find the right channel.

    I have entered the "showview channel settings", and found that
    (not equal)

    1 =/= SVT1
    2 =/= SVT2
    etc..

    I have to set maybe

    2 = TV3 and so on.. an that is confusing.

    It seems that most of the channels are on "local cable channels, like 2,4,5,6 etc.."
    But other channels are on cc7, cc8 and THESE CHANNELS - I cannot select in the "showview channels settings". ???
