I just tried my very first capture from BetaSP plugged into my Radeon 8500DV device. I'm using Vegas 4.0 for the capturing.
At first, before hitting the capture button, the sound is coming out of the speakers. Yet, upon capturing the footage and reviewing what I've captured there is no sound at all, only video. What gives?
Is there something I need to download (drivers perhaps?) that will make this work. How can I tell if the hard drive is even getting the audio feed? What could possibly be wrong with my system as I'm not quite sure what to do next?
Desperate for any type of help,
Darren

Check the software for your soundcard - double check all your volume controls and make sure your input line isn't on mute.
check the display for both Playback controls and Recording controls.
Also, check your Audio settings in Vegas, that your source is checked
