    Hey,
Been trying to convert a downloaded AVI to dvd mpeg2. I ran it through VDUB first to delete bad frames....then extracted the audio to WAV. Once i convert it with tmpegenc the audio goes out of sync about halfway through...i first noticed it at the point i deleted the bad frames. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Just curious as to the avi codec that your file uses. Is is XviD or Divx? Or is just plain avi? I am having the same problem with XviD to DVD.

I found the same problems with TMPGEnc on some XVid and Divx Files. I downloaded the newest MainConcept and the synch problems went away.
It seems TMPGEnc has some bugs with certain files.

I tried MainConcept with the Xvid videos that I had and it worked flawlessly. It even appears to be faster than CCE. I got my Xvid codecs from Doom9.

    Size 544x288 pixel

    audio input info
    sample rate 48000
    Sample 24643231 lenth 1h 25s 34s
    bit per sample 16

When I load that AVI file in Main concept output format automaticly switch the output format to

MPEG TYPE-mpeg 1 Video mode NTSC
Sample type-video+audio audio mode layer 2

Hey everyone.... I solved my sync problem. I had suspected that it may have been a codec issue. I had K-lite codec pack installed. I uninstalled it and installed Nimo Codec pack......bye bye sync problems.
