I have a DVD-R that I created using Sonic MyDVD that contains three different home videos that I recorded. I have since decided that I would rather put each video on a seperate disk and want to extract the video files from the disk so I can put them on a new DVD-R.

What do I use to get the three video files off the disk and seperate them so that I can place them on thier own DVD-R's?
    Ummm.. Yeah, what he said...

It appears that DVDShrink will extract the VOB files individually but how do I make them into MPG files so that I can open them with a video editor and change them and such.

Can I just rename the vob files to .mpg and open them with studio 8 or something?

  4. isobuster will allow you to extract the mpeg2 video/audio files to 1 big mpeg.

The other route would require dvddecrypter and changing the setting to 1 big file.

You could if the audio is MP2,the best way is to use VOBEdit->Demux.

  6. You could use dvd decrypter and enable stream processing.
