I heard theres a way to set the bitrate or something to DVD-Rom instead of DVD-R,making discs more compatable with players.

Do you need to mess with the firmware to do this? Or is there some program to use? I use Nero btw.

Under the ISO or the LABEL tab in Nero in the Write DVD dialog box before you burn.

Star Warrior- Pm me your E-mail and I'll send you the Bitsetting tool. You will need one of the 2 latest firmware updates. It will work with any DVD burning software. It doesn't work on DVD-R discs, only DVD+R discs.
It works on hte 411 but not sure on the 451.
