hiho,
i have a 23,976fps avi-file but i have to get a 29,97fps VCD-file.
now the question: in TMPGEnc just selecting the VideoCD (NTSC).mcf to get a propper one or is there anything else i have to think of?

NTSC-Film (23.976fps) would work much better. dont worry about it not playing correctly on any players. it will work just fine, and perhaps look better, since there is no frame rate conversion.
but if what you really want to get 29.97, then yes. VideoCD NTSC is what you want.asdf -
A VCD is FRAME based. This means that your 23.976fps video is what you want. 29.97fps is not allowed for a VCD.
You DVD player will automatically apply the 2:3 pulldown on the progressive video.ICBM target coordinates:
