  1. Every time i click on the internet explorer icon i get an error box saying

IEXPLORE.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program....

I have restarted my pc....Upgraded to IE 6....When I did the upgrade I got a different error message allowing me to try to restart the explorer, send the error to M$ or not to send the error message......So i unistalled IE 6 and back to the original..

I am running W2k with the version of internet explorer that came with it now.....Anyone have any ideas what this error could be? I might have deleated a file by mistake somewhere...Is there some software to help me diagnose this problem and maybe fix it?

    Thanks......

  2. Run scandisk or whatever it's called in Win2000 then maybe defrag. The error report doesn't do anything. If you get the Blue screen of death when it shows the erroe it might be a sign that your RAM is dying.
