I'm using Pinnacle Instant Photo Album to create vcd slideshows of my digital photos. Whilst I'm pleased with the picture quality of this software compared to some other slideshow software that I've tried I find that adding background music is quite limited. I can only add one music track, which will just keep repeating all through the slideshow and end abruptly at the end of the slideshow. I can make the the slide show last the same length of time as the music but the picture duration is too short. Can anyone recommend some simple software that would allow me to put together two or more mp3 tracks and fade them out to the time length that I want and then save that as one track which I could use for background music. I know that other slideshow software has better background music options but I've tried many different ones and the end picture quality has been terrible, this is my main reason for persevering with Pinnacle. I'd be grateful for any advice and guideance.

  2. Audacity (see tools) will allow you to piggy-back one mp3 track onto another and edit the length. It also has fade in and fade out facilites
