  1. Hi and thanks for the help in advance. I cannot capture higher than 320x 240 . Im using a Winfast PVR 2000 xp Deluxe Card. IVe tried huffy 2.1.1 using virtual dub and it just wont let me do it. Says unsupported video format error 418. Also Ive tried capturing using adobe premier it wont let me either.

Both of the above progies let me capture at 320 x 240 no prob but this isnt what i want.

    My settings are 320 x 240, pcm audio 44100

Im trying to convert a VHS tape to dvd and im trying to increase the quality. As lordsmurf Recommends i should use 720 x 480 for north america for optimal quality when capturing VHS Tapes. But I cant do 720 x 480.

Am i doing something wrong or can my card not handle this res or what??
    Thanks

  2. your card uses WDM type drivers and also should be capable of providing 720 x 480 capture.

try this capture tool : https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=51#comments

You may also be able to use your huffyuv codec with this app...
