Hi there ...... Another newbie to the world of DVD recording has been stumbling blindly amongst scart leads galore and has come up with a problem ..... Bought the recorder before Christmas and have up until this time been backing up VHS. Now, I want to copy a couple of the DVDs that I've already backed up. If you get my drift? I've stuck the plugs in where they should be and can get the 2nd DVD player signal through the EXT 2 channel on the recorder. And it records with no problem, HOWEVER ..... the picture and the recording comes through with a blue hue!! Makes everybody look cold!!

The scarts are all decent quality [£20 each] but the multi scart box thing isn't the best of quality. Would the problem be the multi scart thing? If so I'll change it. [The picture quality is as good pixel wise, just blue] If not what could the problem be please people?
I'm not very technical minded so if I have to follow any instructions, could you make them 'idiot proof' please?
I did actually try and change the RGV setting on the player, but it just turned the picture from blue to black and white.
Anyhoo, hope there's some one out there thats thinking 'I know what her problem is' ......... Many thanx in advance. SEESE[/b]
