Okay, time for a question. I d/l the Mainconcept PVR. I was wondering how well it could capture to MPEG2 in realtime.
Problem #1) It stays in 25 fps. I can't seem to get it to change anywhere.
Problem # 2) I can't select 1/2D1. I get 352x240, 480x480, 704x480 and 720x480.
The Captures look great, but are totally useless since they are non-standard. Anyone got a quick fix?

Dam German program installs PAL by default. I changed it from PAL to NTSC but it didn't stick. Unintsall-re-install I guess.

It works for VCD/SVCD/DVD, but not for custom MPEG. And it's an 2000+ on the CPU....ouch.
No 1/2D1 really blows, my cable channels are analog. I don't see anyting in the INI files to let me change that. Too bad, everything else is pretty cool, including a built in cutter. To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
I purchased this on the merits of their encoder and am very disappointed in the product, seems very buggy and unfinished almost like it was rushed out. Lets hope they release an update soon!!

I just tried it too. I can't find anything in the registry
that sets capture res.
