    I am having a problem, using "DVD Shrink" I am trying to back up my DVD's. the problem, I am having is, after I try to rip using "DVD Shrink", The files are in vts format. I tried using "DVD2AVI" to read them, but no luck. "TMPGEnc" can't read them either. So far I am stuck. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks In advance...

    what are you trying to do? how are you going about backing up your dvds? sounds like you want to convert to another format, not back up. makes sense though...with only a 13G HD you really can't do much with vob files. please elaborate...

    There are two ways:
    1) SmartRipper -> DVD2AVI -> TMPGenc
    takes a long time to convert, useful to back up to VCD, SVCD

    2) DVDDecrypter -> [optionally DVDShrink] -> burn to DVD
    this method is much much faster

    ok, I used, "DVD Shrink" first, to rip the files, then I tried to use "DVD Decrypter" with no luck. I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help is Appreciated...
