Problem with TMPGEnc DVD Author....finishing early????

I have a movie in two parts both in dvd-mpeg (encoded by TMPGEnc)

I have used TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert the first to its DVD file (vobs etc....)before i burn in Nero, and just tried to convert the second and it started, then in a matter of seconds said wrote menu 1....menu2....... then finished authoring dvd???? Somehow said it was done in a few seconds.....only ACTUALLY authoring 2mb's worth of video!!!

Someone please explain???? I cant get it to convert the whole 2nd part of the movie, yet the mpeg isfine to watch???

Sounds like an author prep error.. either by app or user input.

Using TDA, ro-do the mpeg file for your part 2 movieas before. Then - before you proceed with burning - use windows explorer to open the newly created folder holding the compiled burn files.

Check to see that the summed size(s) of the VOB files (could be 1 to 9 of them) come close to your mpeg file size that you just authored.

If so,TDA has most likely done it's job. Proceed with Nero burn using rw disk to avoid coaster. If not, closely re-check user input to TDA.

Results should at least let you pinpoint which app (if either) contains the prob source.
