  1. Hallo,

I recently begun to make dvds, and still havent found the final sw.
I installed dvdit, and i like the versatility and wide range of posibilities, but i couln't capture via Firewire tha images (i had them in mini dv), so it took me longer to prepare the mpge-2 file.
Is it that i didn't know how to do it, or it just can't be done???

    Thanks

hi, i didnt realise you could capture with dvdit?
what i tend to do is import video from camcorder into
adobe premiere uncompressed then edit the avi and
export to adobe mpeg encoder.then the finished file
i load into dvdit for menus, chapters etc..
    hope this helps

  3. Hallo nada, that's what i had to do, but i know some software for dvd authoring that you don't need to capture to premier (or the sw you use), and wanted to know if i can do it with dvdit. I found lately that dvdit reads qt ref clips, wich helps a lot (in time)
    Try that
