Nero 6 - Can't copy my own dvd#s

Have anybody the same problem with nero. From Version 6.0.0.23 on, I can't copy on the fly my own dvd's (data or video) . I have a
LG 8161B DVD-Rom Drive and a Sony Dru-500a. Nero always says disk is empty, but it is full. CD's and Commercial DVD's are no problem, only DVD-+R.

Are you sure that you have Nero set to the correct drive? I know it's a silly question, but lotsa folks make that mistake.

Have you cleaned the disc really well?
Have u tried dragging the files to your HD first?
Have u tried doing an ISO copy?

Issues with your OS or hardware setup can prevent u from doing an on-the-fly copy, so I suggest trying those other methods also to see if you can uncover some underlying issue that may be causing the problem.

Had the same problem with Nero 6.0.0.8 I have the same LG DVD-ROM but a Pioneer 106D Burner and it will simply refuse to read the disk , if it's one of my own DVD-R's despite the disk being completely clean etc . My only solution has been to copy off the fly which results in the same problem which is only solved by setting DVD Shrink to No Compression and ripping everything to the Hard Disk and reburning the whole lot again .

Hi,
Whenever you use Nero 6 and it will not allow you copy the DVD disk in Nero Burn, then go to Nero Express to copy, I do like that 10/10 I can copy it.
