  1. I am using this card and so far am very happy with it, except that everytime I start it I have to reset the recording source on my sound card. Old Soundblaster PCI. I had a SB Live in there and it did the same thing. Any ideas on how to lock this???. If I set it for a timed recording when it starts up it dosnt record sound. Thanks in advance.

  2. I doubt the card is at fault. I have the same one

Might be the program you are using to capture with that doesn't save your settings. Have you tried the WinFast PVR software that came with the card? I haven't had any problems with scheduled programs recording sound using that.

I always have to select my sound card with many other programs everytime I start, unless it has a save settings option.

  3. Thanks for the reply. I am using the Winfast PVR. If I schedule a recording and then just minimize the program it is fine. When ever I start the program though I have to reset my recording properties. I have even set the recording control and left it on the screen and when I start PVR the check mark disapears.

  4. hmm

Have you tried downloading the updated PVR software from the leadtek website? Thats the one i'm using. I didn't install anything from the disk that came with the card. I downloaded all the updated drivers and software from the site. Have had no problems

Maybe something got fixed in the newer version. Try it out
