  1. Just wondering what everyone thought the best authoring tool was.

As footnote, does anyone if scenarist or dvdmaestro have a setting to allow for the timeout of buttons.I know there is a time-in on dvdmaestro, just no timeout, as far as I can tell.

    Hmmm........intrigating one...

AFAIK, every function that you can see on a Holywood DVD might be available in either Scenarist or Maestro, as these are the only professional authoring sw's out there

I mean, DVD's that you buy at the store and watch at home might have been done with either of these.....

  3. Are you asking about "Best" in terms of price is not an issue???

It seems to me there tends to be a Under $50, Under $100, Over $100 and the Real Super Professional stuff categories when it comes to authoring SW. Majority of people out there would probably be happy with Under $50, those with more artistic endeavors might want around $100+ depending on what they need. Most people probably have no need for the Real Super Professional stuff (ignoring the price).
