Hi,
I was wondering if there would be too much wear and tear on the burner to use it to rip as well. I'd like to upgrade the DVD rom in my g4 to a burner. Any suggestions are appreciated. Perhaps it would be better to keep the internal DVD rom and get an external burner???
Thanks, Jerry

nope.
in fact most of us only just have one drive, and its the superdrive
honestly, and are good but get the one that has the bastest dvd read speed. that will help it back up the dvd to the HD faster!
