First things first i tried using the forum search and none of the threads said how to copy it. So, I have been trying to make a backup of my Saving Private Ryan dvd but every time i try to do it it gets half way done and says that theirs a "cyclical error" or something like that. I have tried dvd shrink, Clone dvd, and dvd2one, and none have worked. I am also running Anydvd while doing this. If anyone knows of a program i could use or any way to copy this dvd please let me know.

try using dvd decrypter to copy all the files to your hard disk first, then use clone dvd or dvd2one or ic7 to transcode

Are you able to play the disc completely on your computer?
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the "cyclical error" indicates the disc is not readable. I would check to see if it is dirty or scratched first. -
There must be some global problem with the Saving Private Ryan DVD. I had to return the DVD 3 times before I could even get a copy that would play in my DVD player let alone my PC. The problem appears to occur at the layer change. Using different software won't change a thing if a good chunk of the disc is physically unreadable.
Best bet is to take the disc back from wherever you got it from and get another one."Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless."
