My problem is that I cannot make DVD's with wide screen format by using NVE2. I recently got Nero 6 and I am very happy with the overall function, except for a wide screen problem with NVE2.
When I add a wide screen format videofile (.avi 720x576 1.422 pixel aspect ratio - made by Premiere 6.0)it seems that NVE2 converts it to 4:3. The setting in NVE2 is 16:9 and black areas fill out the remaining width of the video that seems to have changed to 4:3 format.
If I capture the DV directly from my DV camera, using NVE2, the 16:9 wide screen format goes in as it should to NVE2.
Now I suspect that some of you will say that Premiere is the propblem but I do not think so. If I play the avi file (that I were not able to down load to the correct format by NVE2) by using window media player or nero's player it works fine showing the 16:9 format. So something happens during download of that avi file to NVE2.
Can someone explain whats wrong and how to fix the problem?
