    On Saturday, November the 29th, I ordered a 50 pack of Ritek DVD-R from Meritline's "After Thanksgiving Special" for which I received a confirmation e-mail. It was to be shipped UPS 2nd. Day Air.
    As of today I haven't received it and can't get the status of my order from their order status page. They haven't answered my e-mails after a lady from Meritline told me that she would check and get back to me. That was on Wednesday. Their toll-free number keeps sounding busy. I have ordered from them several times before with no problems. If they are out of stock or having any other problems, why they don't send an e-mail to their customers stating so?
    I'm really disappointed. Anybody with the same problem?

  2. 12/3 ordered 45 TY and 50 BeAll ... 12/4 got shipping notice & UPS says they're on their way via ground - so , no problems w those afaik

    I'm worried because not having word from them is strange. No answer to my e-mails, etc. Today is a week since I ordered.

    I'm having the same problem with no replys to email's and no product and no nothing. CC card was charged and not worried about not getting the money back, just wondering what's happened with their customer service.......never had a problem before

    were you buying blank media? if so, just curious what brand?

  9. I ordered some cases from them last week and had the item in my hands 3 days after ordering. I've had no probelms, then again they are local for me in the LA area

  10. i had the same problem as well. i orderd my 100 pack from meritline on wednesday, the day before thanksgiving and i didnt receive a confirmation mail 'till this friday that past. and when i called before that, the phone sounded busy and all i got was their voice box. so overall i had to wait about 2 weeks to recieve any type of mails from them. overall, i am really dissapointed in their service. in the past they have always been prompt on my order. if they didnt have any media or any related matter then they should of told me as well. next time i will call them to make sure if my order is ready to go. but now im just happy that my order will be here on tuesday, but that doesnt mean im happy with their customer service.

  12. yeah, they gave me the tracking # on 12/05 at 7 in the evening. so i put the tracking number in the ups site and it said that my package is scheduled to arrive on 12/09, which will be tomorrow. i will wait and see.

    Apart from the order confirmation, they haven't send me a tracking number. I hope they'll send it today or tomorrow. And, yes, they have a very poor customer service.

    They don't have much in the way of phones. I had problems in early November getting through to someone that could actually answer a question. So it's a Meritline issue, not something Holiday specific. As long as you don't need a live person, your okay.......

  15. i just hope in the future they solve those issues that we have right now so us customers wont have to be dissapointed due to a product that is scheduled to arrive on time but is very much delayed. they either have to get more people on the phones or those people need to do their jobs cause a week of trying to get through is outrageous. just my opinion on this.

    Glad to hear that, too, supersam. Meritline (the member of this site) helped me a lot in tracking the order and, I hope, everything is OK.
    Now, let's see how those Ritek work.

    That still doesn't explain away poor e-mail replies...or NO e-mail replies. Is this company a "company" or some guy with a website?....you never know.

  24. Guess issues with meritline does not stop. Looks like they have gone from bad to worse. As I posted other replies to other online viewer, try other companies. There are alot of new guys are playing in this market. For instant, try supermediastore or try Rima. I heard their customer service is not that bad. Or try ekatomi.com, they are new but seems ok.

    Speaking of meritline, I am still having some unsettled issues with Meritline. Hope they will see this message. Meritline Su ks.

  25. Funny I order 500 discs at once all the time from Meritline and they are always fast and great shipping. Probably bought well over 3000 discs from them this year and not a problem.

    Maybe it was the stolen credit card you used?!
