What I'm wanting to do is put a bunch of .swf flash movies onto vcd. I have managed to convert the flash movies to .avi files with Magic Swf2Avi (A very good program, by the way!). Anyway, once I have my .avi file I go to TMPG to encode. Everything seems to go fine, and then I burn to vcd using Nero, and play in my dvd player. Here is where the problem starts. The picture seems to be stretched and cut off. Most of it is there, but part of the top and bottom is cut off. I have tried several different aspect ratio's in TMPG, but I can't find one that works. The only one that doesn't cut off part of my clips is the 16:9 aspect ratio, and that one makes the screen way too short and wide. But yet, it doesn't cut anything off.
Does anyone have any ideas? One more thing, after I encode, I view the movies in RealOne player, and everything looks fine, nothing is cut off or anything. But then when I burn to vcd and play in my dvd player, that's when things get cut off. (I've tryed playing them in all 3 of my dvd players, and they all do the same thing, so I know it's not just the dvd player.)
Also, I just stuck the vcd into my DVD Drive on my PC, and it looks fine, nothing is cut off.
I'd appreciate any help. If it helps, what I'm working with is some cartoons from Homestar runner.
