Access windows media on T2 extreme DVD?

Anybody know how to play the WMV files on the T2 Extreme DVD?

I can access them by navigating to common/win/lang/en/t2x/esource

When I try to play them in wmp it takes me here.

I've tried VLC and MPlayer and they simply won't play the files.


Just for kicks, I copied one of the .wmv files to my hard drive and tried to convert it with ffmpegX but that didn't work either.


Anybody know how to play them?

Try Microsoft Windows Media player 9.

The t2 Extreme Wmv has Digital Right Management which for that DVD i think you have to live in the usa and have an internet connection so it can connect to a site for the licence to play it and of cause im sure you have to have WMP9 or greater

Not sure if it will work on mac but if theirs a windows Media Player 9 version for the mac then i dont see why it wont?

Might also require a hefty machine to play it smoothly(typical of microsoft trying to make you upgrade)
