  1. I have recently purchased my first DVD player - We have three TV's in the house which are all networked to a satelite receiver and a video player - I was hoping that I could also connect my DVD so it could be viewed on one or more of the TV's - To try and achieve this I connected my DVD to the Scart socket on the Video recorder this works fine on some DVD's but not on others were the picture and sound is distorted, however if, for these DVD's, I connect the DVD directly to the television the distortion does not occur and the DVD plays fine unfortunately when I connect up this way I am unable to network the DVD signal to other TV's.
Anyone have any advice - Thanks

  2. unfortunately you have encountered macrovision protection. there are several ways around this problem.

    1. macro disable via a hack which possibly is on this site somewhere

    2. a anti macro device such as a sonel mac master or the bug blaster box

    3. play back ups only with the macro stripped!

    hope this helps

    cheers
