Captured files with HuffyUV codec won't open in Studio 8. When I go to open a file scene detection comes up for a second and then Studio 8 crashes. I have heard that others get Studio 8 to work with HuffyUV files and I would like to know how.

Did a little trial and error last night and found that the problem is solely with scene detect in Studio. I found if I do not have scene detect enabled and don't use it during the editing every thing works fine.
What I did was select the file for editing. That gave me a single thumbnail. I then selected the set scenes by time mode and divided the file into 30 one minute scenes. Move the scenes into the movie, editing them with splits, cuts and trims as necessary.
If I try to use scene dtect on any of the scenes I have created by time length, Studio crashes as before.
As long as I stayed away from scene detect everything worked just fine. Not a solution but it did get the problem identified and a work around figured out.
