  1. Everything hooked up and ready to try, but confused on how to start the process. The help menu, for a first time user, is not specific enough. I like to have a users guide to follow, but none included with this product.

I'll be copying vhs from the vcr. Do I put the tape in, manually hit play and then click capture (or create)? Or does the program automatically start the tape. Can't find this info in the help menu.

    Thanks

Yes you will have to start the VCR manually then start your capture. I usually start the tape and give it a few seconds for the VCR's tracking to do it's thing, as a flickering image while your tracking adjusts will usually cause you to drop frames.
