  1. Hi, new here, so I will probably have a lot more questions later. I installed Avermedia DVD Ezmaker PCI and am in the process of hooking up to copy vhs to cds (cd burner, but no dvd burner). The instructions say, to capture audio with video, connect an audio cable to the "line in" port of the sound card and the "audio out" of the vcr. Is this correct?
Then connect the video cable, "video out" of the vcr to the capture card?
I have never used one of these programs, so it can be confusing. Any added info appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. Yes that is correct the sound goes from "line out" of the source to the "line in" on your sound card.

On my capture card there is a cable with a yellow, white, and red jack. The white and red are audio and on the other end of these wires there should be something to plug into the "line in" on your sound card.

For video you do the same thing, video out (yellow) on your VCR to your capture card.
