Is it possible to recompress decrypted vob using tmpeg, cce, canopus, etc, and then put it back into Video_TS folder and will work?
For example: I've a movie which is ~7Gb. I'm using DVD shrink in recompress mode, but just removing some subtitles and audio, without recompressing video (I leave it to 100%q, Idon't want to recompress with DVD shrink, because with CCE I can get much better quality with the same bitrate). Then I backup This DVD to my HDD, and as a result, I've Video TS folder with ~6Gb. After that I'm taking Vob files, remuxing to x.mpv and x.ac3, then with cce recompress x.mpv and muxing new y.mpv file with x.ac3, and crate new vob, using Tmpg dvd author without menu.
The new vob files I copy to VIDEO_TS folder (which was made by DVD shrink), with the names which was original. Sometimes it works, sometimes, no.
The question where is a mistake? I want to keep original DVD structure (including menus), but recompress video with good tools Canopus, Main Cocept or CCE.
Any ideas?
