I need some help with the following, I use Nero 5540 to make VCD´s from AVI or MPEG2 files captured using WinTv PVR. The VCD´s play without audio both in my computer and DVD player but I don´t get any error message from Nero, (I have the MPEG2 plug-in installed) and the original files play with good audio in my computer.

I'm having the same problem too. I converted an AVI file to XSVCD using TMPGEnc and burnt it via Nero. My Philips DVD931 couldn't play the audio, but it could play the video. I have tried various audio parameters such as below:
attempt 1: 32kHz, MPEG1 Layer 2
attempt 2: 32kHz, MPEG1 Layer 1
attempt 3: 48 kHz, MPEG1 Layer 2
The above parameters didn't work.
Does anybody have an answer?
