  1. i have a xvid avi file that plays fine on regular media player. audio and video are in sync. when i go to nerovision to edit,as soon an i add avi file i preview it before i burn and the audio is like 3 seconds off. never had this problem with any other movies. can somebody please help? thanks.

    Are you trying to create a DVD-Video disc, or a data disc? If it's the former, keep in mind Nero usually re-encodes everything you give it, not necessarily in the best way, and I don't think there's any way around that.

    You might run the AVI through a utility like GSpot or MediaInfo, and see if there's anything that stands out - for example, does the AVI have a VBR-encoded MP3 audio stream?

    Or, you might also try making a disc with programs like AVS2DVD, DVD Flick, etc.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
