WMA TO MP3

Hey guys, what is a GOOD WORKING, RELIABLE program for me to convert my .wma music files to the mp3 format. I went to Wal-Mart's website and downloaded an album off there. I wanted to get it to mp3 format so that when I burn the album to CD-R, every song on it would be in mp3 format.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Advanced WMA Workshop? I haven't used it in awhile, but they still have a free demo.

Windows Media Encoder 9 can decode WMA into WAV, letting you encode using your MP3 encoder of choice.

I was always concerned about transcoding/recoding from one compressed format directly into another. I always seemed to get slightly better results going into WAV first.

wmp encoder 9 only lets you decode from other formats into wma format.

I see no option for decoding from wma to wav.

Am I missing something?
