well i have tested many dvd writers pioneers from a03 to a05, lgs first 2x multi format (-r and ram), btcs 4x multi format +/- 4x, liteons new 411s
all have had there faults and to be honest up to this moment the a05 has been the most reliable and compatable of all but the new 8x capable optorite is fantastic i have thrown light blue white label -r 4x choice 4x generic 2x silver -rs all first time no coaster perfect an £1 ritek +r 8x no arguements no failures and + or - no compatability issues with my stand alone players,console backup or pc drivesthis is a mighty piece of kit and at 130 smackers makes plextor look quite laughable. god knows what h/d burn will do but i'm testing it out. buy this now
