Anyone try the trial "Ideal Blu-ray Copy" program?

I have tried to get “Ideal Blu-ray Copy” to run on my Win7 system and it stop while trying to analyze the disc. The program needs to connect to their server to remove the protection, but it doesn’t connect. Anyone else running into the problem?

  2. I'll be the first to say it: you're wasting your time.

There are a multitude of dubious blu-ray decryption programs, and it's well-known (here anyway), that most don't work. The ones that *do* work are in the Tools section here. If you don't see a decrypter listed in the tools section (and it's a short list), it's a rip-off.

If you want to pay for something to copy BluRay discs buy either AnyDVD HD or DVDFab HD. That's it. You're throwing your money in the trash with anything else.

I had to configure your Kaspersky to allow Ideal Blu-ray Copy to work.

It took an hour to rip, but it seems to require 50GB blanks; that is not going to happen too costly.

    Update:

The program has real promise. I was just told Ver 1, does not have compression, but Ver 2 will. I would wait for Ver. 2.0.
