I'm due to do a friends wedding and need some advise to improve the sound,
I understand my ip1 cannot be improved but I have access to a sony trv22.
I want to know if its best to buy the synnesier MKE300 and use in the horn or go for a radio type tie clip mic. If the tie clip is best option then what do people recommend?
I not only want the ceremony but also speeches and other stuff during the day so may be the tie clip is not the best, but any input would stop me impulse buying again and may save me some pennies.

If you want to record the exchanging of vows during the ceremony and be unobtrusive, you're probably better off with a wireless lapel, cardoid type mic. You might consider renting one from a local sound rental company. Probably around $35 for a good one
