Help: DVD to DivX

I have converted DVDs to Divx using EasyDivx, Gordian Knot, and DVD Master Backup and for some reason the audio is always TOO low on the final divX file...MUCH lower than the DVD or the same movie converted to mpg using TMPGEnc Pro. Does anyone know if this is normal, and if it isn't, is there a fix or a way around it?

Kinda new to this forum, so i'm not sure what other information u need from me to help me out with this...
