    Is anyone experiencing audio/video sync problems when converting VOB to VCD/SVCD? The delay I am getting is about 14 seconds.

    I am using the VCD and SVCD preset. I have bought the QuickTime MPEG-2 component for QT 6.4 and I'm using FFMPEG 0.0.9a (which I am waiting to pay for as soon as I can get it to work properly). I am quite keen on sticking with the QT component as the image quality is a lot better than ffmpeg or mpeg2enc codecs.

    Does anyone have a solution or can anyone please suggest one (or several) things to try?

    Probably a dumb question but you do have "Decode With QuickTime" checked under the Options tab, right?

    I always Decode with QuickTime and the sync has always been perfect. What movie are you trying to convert?
