  1. at different points in a movie clip.......ive got a bunch of different movie clips (.mov, .wmv, .mpeg) that im trying to cut up and stick together and make one longer clip. what i wanna do is change the audio levels at different parts of the finished clip so that when its all finished, it plays back with some of the original audio, and audio that i would like to add to it.....like a music video with the music stopping or fading out and then talking fading in and then back out to the music again.....i previously made a clip from a dvd with nero, turned the volume down on the video and added my own audio, but as far as i know i can only have it up or down and not louder or quieter at different points.....ive been looking on this site and others and tried downloading some programmes but i dont understand alot of it.....does anyone know how to do this or links to programmes that do this that i could download? any help would be greatly appreaciated and sorry if ive not been looking hard enough
    cheers!

Looks like a job for...Gold Wave! It can mix in audio, adjust any part of the file, etc. It is shareware, but it is functional in that after 120 or so functions you have to relaunch it.
