Hi
I am new to this forum and video editing and what i am trying to do is this::
I recorded an event to DV tape and have now transfered to computer - no problem here
The video has two presenter on it - one was wearing a mic, the other not
so on playback, the one wearing the mic you can hear fine, but then have to turn up the sound volue to hear the other presenter (who does not say much but just add occasionally)
The problem is , can i edit the video so that i can increase the volume of the second presenter and keep the same volume for the first presenter - then record to a DVD so that the viewer does not keep having to turn the volume up and down
any help appreciated
Mark

If the second guy doesn't have a mic, the only way I see to do it is to raise the gain of the whole track when they speak. You may be able to do that in your video editor (especially if it's a time line based product) and can do it for sure by seperating the audio and video and adjusting the audio in Audacity then re combining the tracks.
