SO here I am AGAIN unable to copy a DVD with 1:1 qaulity. First it was Spongebob now its the Looney Tunes GOlden Collection that just came out.
Is this a sign of things to come?
DVDXCopy and DVDFab can not copy these DVDs correctly. Hell, DVDFab just says right out, cant do it. Not in those words but thats the result.
Can anyone suggest a method to maintain exact quality of these DVDs or DVDs with 7 gig of info other than DVDXCopy or DVDFab,, nor without shrinking them?
Thanks

I haven't gone to this trouble myself. But both SmartRipper and DVD Decrypter can rip by Chapter. You could rip by chapter, then use a DVD authoring program to place as many chapters as will fit on one Disc.
If the Disc has the episodes as separate titles, then you could CloneDVD or InstantCopy 8 and select the episodes you want to back up, and "split up" the disc that way. As long as you do not go over the limit of a DVDR, these programs will not transcode your selections. -
Try InterVideo DVD Copy Platinum to split them you can download a fully working trial version. This is now my preferred version for splitting DVD's as it puts a menu on each DVD.
