Should I download I-tunes 10.4.1 onto my older Mac.
I am still running leaopard with non-Intel processor in my Mac G4. The online software updates are offering an update for I-tunes 10.4 which currently works fine on the Leopard OS. The update screen says that 10.4 is designed for the Lion OS and this update to 10.4.1 has some fixes. Will downloading it onto my older system create any problems, since I will never have Lion, at least on this computer because it is too old for that OS.
Thanks

Do you think it's necessary? If you're not experiencing any problems with your existing version of iTunes, or don't have any new hardware which might require additional (read: new) support, like one of the newer iPhone/Pad/etc. models, it's probably not necessary to update.
I don't know if they'd consider it necessary to update in order to use the iTunes Music Store/App Store, though, however. Or whether or not they've implemented any critical security fixes which absolutely require an update. But if you don't use iTunes for the iTMS/App Store, it shouldn't matter.
Given that it's a point update, though (10.4 > 10.4.1), it probably won't be an issue. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
