Can someone tell me what is the best software out there for burning DVD-Video, and what type of writing does it use DAO, TAO, SAO, Packet writing etc... something that will last, something that i can get my hands on easily, I have tried Nero, its not bad, it works, but its packed with to much stuff, id like something simple yet powerfull mainly for creating DVD-Video Discs, ive also tried CopyToDVD it scares me, i burnt a movie with it, and burnt the same movie with another program and it was burnt differently with CopyToDVD, when you look at the bottom of the disc where it has burnt it, its burnt less on the disc then the other program which does it like the original, but it still works.

anyway if anyone can tell me a nice piece of software that can burn DVD-Video other then nero or CopytoDVD, then please state them.
And if you can please tell me about your experiences with any type of burning software used to create DVD-Video. (including nero and copytodvd) that will be great.

By the way im using DVDShrink for the output of the DVD-5 ( maybe if theres something better, can you please also state it, thanks alot )
and im USING an ASUS DRW-0402P/D 4X Dual Drive -R +R which does everything well.

I love DVD Decrypter and how it burns the ISO image, its very good. but i dont like the fact of creating an Image file after encoding the movie with dvd shrink, its just giving more work to the hard drive and taking so much longer, so id like something such as the dvd decrptyer burning engine, which burns video_ts audio_ts folder to produce the DVD-Video.

and if theres anyone out there that has been using such software to burn a DVD-Video and have been using it for a long time and hasnt had any bad coasters can you please tell me what you use

Thanks in advance to everyone on this board that helps!

  2. I use copytodvd and never had a problem that goes for alot of people. It might be a media problem.
