    I have Nero StartSmart, it dosen't always work out the way I want it too.... so im wondering is there a better program then Nero StartSmart?

    For most burning operations, ImgBurn. You might also look into Prassi ONES which seems fairly popular.

    Imgburn is great for burning data CDs and DVDs and DVD video, as well as creating and burning ISO images. About the only thing it doesn't do is audio CDs. small and reliable and free. What more could you ask.
