New version of Pinnacle Studio 8

It looks like Pinnacle has released another patch - bringing Studio 8 up to 8.10.4

Not that anyone uses this program.

oh c'mon, it's not really that bad.
You want to try and use my old editing box
2 inputs (camcorder and stereo)
1 output (vcr)
awful lot of wires everywhere and exact timing needed and no room for error just to end up with bog standard picture.
that's when your kids start getting shouted at for asking for a drink.
so like i said studio isn't that bad.

Thanks for the offer, but I am one of the few that already use this program. It took me many months to get it where it works and I'm not about to change and throw all of that hard work out the window.

It would be a true dissapointment to find something that actually worked the first time - and even worse if it worked better.

I don't recall the number on the patch I just put on my Pinnacle Studio 8 just last month, but it hasn't worked since.... (there's a surprise!)

I wonder if this one is the fix?...... (only if you believe in miracles)

There is such a beast. It's called Vegas 4.0. (Though I must admit, I really miss Studio's nifty TitleDeko title features, which at this point is the best thing I can say about Studio 8.)

fwiw, I also use S8 for the music generator - sometimes useful on menus, etc. write to an avi file, then demux it & pull the wav file into vegas. since I have s8 it's cheaper than buying a new package even if others have more features
