The subject says it all. Any ideas what to try?
I paid extra for the 4x for the time savings. I want to get it.
TIA.

I should've mentioned that I'm burning an image created by ImgTool0.90b with DVD Decrypter.
The image is on a seperate HD from the OS and Apps.
Athlon 2600 with 1GB ram. -
What firmware are you using?2.16 is the latest.
Make sure DMA is enabled on all your drives and use the latest DVDDecrypter. -

Go to Device Manager and select your Optorite->Properties->Settings.
Here's the firmware page: www.optorite.com/firmware.htm -
Device Manager->Optorite->Properties doesn't tell me anything about firmware. I'm using WinXP. The only driver mentioned is a MS driver from 2001.
I already upgraded to the firmware that enables all 8MB of cache. -
Updated firmware and changed the ATA wiring so that instead of the DVD burner connecting to a PCI card IDE adapter, it connects to a motherboard IDE adapter.
Now burning a 4+x!
Yeah!
