Hi Everyone,
Please can someone steer me in the right direction.
I have a number of AVI files (I think they are AVI....they say video file when I ask for the properties) which I would like to convert into a format to play on a dvd. I've got Ulead Movie Factory 2 and also have tmpg but always run into the same problem so haven't yet been able to burn a single file that works with my new dvd player....yet.
The files I have work perfectly in Windows Media player but when I burn them to a disk they gradually get out of synch...toward the end is much worse. I've tried burning burning in both NTSC and PAL (I'm in Australia) format just to make sure. Also tried converting the files with tmpg enc and same thing no matter if I choose DVD, VCD or SVCD format.
Is there any easy way or an easy program that might be better than the Ulead one I have even if there is an encoder that can convert them so I can author them in Ulead MF2....it's just that the files run perfectly in the format I downloaded them in.
There's heaps of guides out there but which one...or is this a problem with the Ulead program. I wish there was something that could correct the problem so I can burn them onto a disk.
Please help me and I'll be grateful for the rest of my life :P
