guys, I checked around but am still not really sure how this works. I have various movies from different sources though most are in avi (divx) format. some of them though show 20fps. shouldn't they all be either 29.97fps or 25fps? but that's not really the Q. I wonder how I chose what settings in TMPGEnc to use when trying to make a SVCD. I gathered I would get better quality than VCD, right? since most my avi's are not really 480x480 or higher, do I resize them to this res. or do I keep the 352x288 or 352x240 and just use the other settings (e.g. VBR or higher fixed bitrate) to achieve better quality movies burnt on CD's? does this make any sense at all?
tx, hyper
