    This software is wicked.
I have now managed to burn a few disks with no problem.

What I'm wondering though is this:

When writing a VCD are any of the codecs producing better results than othes. My disks are perfectly watchable on my TV depending on the source file .... however I am obviously looking for the best results.

Also, my player will play SVCD, do films generally get split across 3 disks when written as SVCD's .... this obviously depends on the length of the movie I know .. just looking for a rule of thumb so to speak.. so lets use " THE MATRIX" as an example .... want some kiddieproof copies.

    Cheers

  2. If you look for quality, prefer SVCD or KSVCD to VCD. If you want to limit media size requirements, use CVD or KSVCD. Always test with a small clip with all these formats to see how your player handle them.

    THANKS....

Yeah, its the quality I need, however I dont want to run my movies over 3 disks if I cn help it..

    Heres another problem for you.

I have just encoded one of my movies to VCD - split to two disks etc...

The problem is that the progress tells me that it is only 99% complete when in actual fact the whole thing is there. Two audio files have been generated (mp2) and a (wav), one is for the full movie and the other for just half the movie.

The full audio is a wav file, will I get suitable results from this if I go ahead and mux them together.
I have just tried to author the files to create the.bin files and all ithas given me is 2 mpg's and an xml file.

Where do I go from here??

Sorry to be a pain, I'm very new to this..Appreciate your advice
