  1. Hello everyone, How do u rip a dvd with the subtitles?
    I have a Kung Fu movie but when I rip it with smart ripper it only comes out in cantonese with no subtitles. I also tried to use Flask MPG and I cant get TMPGenc to load the .avs file (not .avi).

  2. You can use VirtualDub and the Vobsub filter for subtitles. It is a little complicated, though. After you rip with Smartripper, you use DVD2AVI to create a .d2v file. You then make that usable to VirtualDub by running a VFAPI program. With VirtualDub you use the Vobsub filter to index the subtitles and then Frameserve to your encoder. Works great.
