  1. Hi- I have scanned the search on here endlessly and am not finding the answers I need. I have a movie in BIN/CUE format, checked it with notepad, and burned the image with Alcohol and Nero. The DVD player says it cannot play the disc, but I have watched VCD's on it, so I assume SVCD would work. Any help on this? Hopefully I have given enough info. Thanks!!!!

I once had the same problem using NERO. Try using VCDEASY to burn the bin/cue files.

  3. Okay, it appears my DVD player is not SVCD compliant, but i'm seeing something about changing headers with tmpgenc. Someone said they will play fine this way on my model player. Any help on doing this with a BIN/CUE? The stuff I found was about MPG's.

  4. Firstly, are you even sure that the CUE/BIN image is good?

Have you tried playing the disc back on your PC with a software DVD proggy that understands SVCD? (e.g., WinDVD).

    Regards.

If your file is OK then you can rip the mpeg from the bin with Isobuster and run the header trick with TMPGEnc. How to's in the guides section for both programs.
